As seen on Ruffled
This styled shoot was inspired by the European influences of historic Miami, specifically the beautiful Vizcaya Museum and Gardens. Miami Florida isn’t always associated with the old world romance but parts of the bustling city hold a rich history that lends itself to meaningful inspiration. We wanted to create something that not only felt nostalgic and historic but would also resonate with a modern bride who gravitates to romantic old world elements. Pink and burgundy flowers were chosen to complement the warm textures of Vizcaya with dusty blues and grays to soften up the overall palette. Elements like the handcrafted sheer cape, soft blue ring, gilded cake and silver touches added to the overall traditional old world feel.
